file : readme.txt author : rtw created: 2024-01-22 MIRAI YOSOU STUDIO, (C) SEGA 2000, NAOMI M2/M3 Cart This cart does not work properly it seems like there is a broken trace between the EPROM and the buffers. However we can easily read out the EPROM using standard tools. Then we can list the ROM table. +--------+----------+-------+-------+ | ROM | Type | Byte | Word | +--------+----------+-------+-------+ | 0 | 16 MBit | 0000 | 0000 | | 1 | 64 MBit | fdb2 | 7444 | | 2 | 64 MBit | 13f0 | 27a3 | | 3 | 64 MBit | ddc8 | 76b9 | | 4 | 64 MBit | 7406 | 5403 | | 5 | 64 MBit | eea6 | 24cf | | 6 | 64 MBit | c86c | a286 | | 7 | 64 MBit | b932 | 621d | | 8 | 64 MBit | 50a2 | 5d8b | | 9 | 64 MBit | b831 | 97b5 | | 10 | 64 MBit | 772d | 642c | | 11 | 64 MBit | c675 | aca0 | | 13 | 64 MBit | d528 | 5161 | | 14 | 64 MBit | 0253 | bbb1 | | 15 | 64 MBit | a0f6 | 24cb | | 16 | 64 MBit | bef2 | da24 | | 17 | 64 MBit | 27ed | 7604 | | 18 | 64 MBit | fcc0 | ba0b | +--------+----------+-------+-------+ Note that ROM 12 is empty and not shown in the ROM list. The serial number on the stickers on the PCB match the serial number stored in the secure FLASH. The dump has been validated against the ROM TEST checksums. From MetalliC: It clearly uses IO 837-13844 I/O with DIPSW 4 and 5 ON (enable touch screen support via standard JVS commands and printer via custom commands 0x74/75) Gameplay video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvzYkVlkD6w Cart type : M2/M3 Game Id : BCB0 Protection key : 0x281a6263 Name Size CRC32 -------------------------------------------------------- mirai_yosou_studio_cart.png 6043884 0x0f58f39b mirai_yosou_studio_pcb_1.png 5745324 0x0c55faf3 mirai_yosou_studio_pcb_2.png 6059758 0x79da4d2a mirai_yosou_studio_rom_test.jpg 1674231 0xd99a9e02 mirai_yosou_studio_emu_rom_test.png 37577 0x9c55e07b mirai_yosou_studio_emu_title.png 125993 0xb947f4bb Name Size CRC32 Chip Type -------------------------------------------------- epr__a__23419.ic22 2097152 0x8639d1e5 27C160 rom1.ic1s 8388608 0x5f11a3ec 28F640 rom2.ic2s 8388608 0x0d46bfe5 28F640 rom3.ic3s 8388608 0xac5c846e 28F640 rom4.ic4s 8388608 0x6cb2153f 28F640 rom5.ic5s 8388608 0xfd70ef17 28F640 rom6.ic6s 8388608 0xe52afefa 28F640 rom7.ic7s 8388608 0x976b929d 28F640 rom8.ic8s 8388608 0x7914b241 28F640 rom9.ic9s 8388608 0x2c50b20c 28F640 rom10.ic10s 8388608 0xa4b8fbc8 28F640 rom11.ic11s 8388608 0x8a7dbf32 28F640 rom12.ic12s 8388608 0x3de23e27 28F640 rom13.ic13s 8388608 0x523a20f9 28F640 rom14.ic14s 8388608 0x5ddf6931 28F640 rom15.ic15s 8388608 0x1ef1cbed 28F640 rom16.ic16s 8388608 0x82fa259a 28F640 rom17.ic17s 8388608 0x6c1207d4 28F640 rom18.ic18s 8388608 0xeb8201b0 28F640 sflash.bin 132 0x44c05f0c X76F100 serial EEPROM supplier: Jorge Valero credits: Jorge Valero, MetalliC, rtw dumper: rtw
