The Sega C2 board is JAMMA compatible. There is 2x8 dipswitches and 16 x 3 pins jumpers (unknown functions).

The main CPU is a MC68000 running at 10 Mhz. This CPU drives the main program and the sound hardware.

The sound FM hardware is an YM3438 compatible with the Genesis sound processor (YM2612).
The digitized sounds hardware uses a NEC pd7759, the same used on System 16B boards. The board is monoral.

The graphic chip is a 315-5313, it's the same graphic chip used in the Genesis console. Near this chip, there is a 53.6931khz crystal.

The games on Sega C2 boards are protected by an Altair EPM5032DC (read protected) located at position 27.
